The fallen trees are cut into various size wooden rounds. They are glued onto a Birch wood backer with a clear waterproof construction adhesive. It is then left unpainted to let the natural wood grain to be highlighted. It is then coated in a water-based acrylic top coat to help with moisture resistance.
